Why does youtube make my videos narrow?

When I started making videos of ps3 gameplay for youtube I ran into a massive problem, when I uploaded them to youtube they became really narrow and U-G-L-Y, they ain't got no alibi (o_O!)
They looked horrible, and ain't no one wana watch poor quality videos!
So i typed some stuff into google such as:
What is the best camera to capture gameplay for youtube?
Why does youtube make my videos narrow?
How to make good quality videos for youtube.
And it was a fucking mess going through all the bullshit! It was specs this and specs that and format this and edit that, why all the bullshit? Why couldn't I find an easy answer (^_^?) Why? Because people are stupid, END!
So friends, here is the EASY answer to the narrow video problem. It's the resolution of the video. My camera was filming in 640x480, and it's too low. So I thought about buying a new camera, but I'm at uni and that's just not in the budget these days, SO, I thought hang about! My phone has a camera in

Fate Stay Night Gallery

I've noticed that a lot of my early posts are written really badly! This being my first blog I was pretty lazy and didn't really put much effort in, being abit of a blog noob an all, especially with the dark souls post, after having finished the game I realised how much NESSASSARY info is missing from it, but it's a good 'start' to the game I guess, I'm really looking forward to dark souls II (^_^!) But anyway, I thought I'd start posting some cool galleries to share, starting with Fate stay night, and eventually maybe some info on my top secret fantasy novel that I'm writing, and some pic's and cool links to deviant art since I'll be looking for an illustrator to draw some pics for me. So, without further ado, here is fate stay night!

Shock to the system, Starting university.

 

It's been 13 years since i finished high school, and since then i have lived a rather, baruum, complacent lifestyle, not in the smug sense, but in the content. Going to work then comming home to relax, play video games, watch anime, tend the lawns and do all the day to day cooking cleaning, nothing really, well, heavy, weighing on the mind.

 

But seeing as how the economy is the way it is I started thinking about getting a career, like the other adult humans do, so i quit my job and enrolled in university.... and here i am! With this big black study cloud looming over my head, all the time, and all these new academic thoughts and theories which transform something simple into a wretched complicated monster born from the filth rotting in the cess pools of blight town, geez, and i signed up for four years of this, fun times, it's not easy to get into such formalities after being away from schooling for so many years.

 

"nothing worthwhile in life is easy" so they say, let's see how we go then eh, with this drastic lifestyle change, into the abyss i go, and i hope it doesn't corrupt me, as those who have gone before, the hobbit comes out on dvd soon omg! yeah yeah uni blah blah blah it's hard and i don't like it so far, I really don't. A simple life, is an enjoyable life. But where say, is my sense of conquest, or achievement, or what ever, i dunno? it's sunday, he probably went for a walk while i research and write this english essay about poetry, FUN TIMES.

 

 

The Hobbit 48fps Review

The Hobbit, there are those who love it, and those who loathe it! And those who haven't seen it but have felt the need to jump on the hobbit bash wagon under the flag of the ones who have named it 'the floppit' bah, fools!
So, The Hobbit, is it good yah or nay (^_^?) who to believe?!?
The answer is obvious! Go to the movie and make up your own mind! That is the best way, but here, allow me to share my thoughts on the movie with you.
I found the movie to be, rather..... AWESOME (^_^!) The 48fps made everything super clear! polished, shiny like a kingdom crystal, but not to clear that it's bad, just the right amount of sharpness. The 3D was put to good use on subtle things, like embers from a fire and less subtle things like the flying moth, over all it was used quite well.
I've heard alot of people complain about the lenght and that some scenes weren't necessary. I felt it went for a good amount of time, and was engaging the whole way through. The few back stories into Thorin and the dwarves past were good, they help to build both the characters and the plot. So no complaints from me. I didn't mind seeing Frodo in the begining either.
What did i like about the movie (^_^?) N#1 it would be the wargs! They looked magnificent! so, so evil! It was great to see Gandalf again, and he used some magic in this which was nice i thought. The elvish blades they found were super cool, and from Gondolin! woooooo! It was cool to hear alot of name drops after having read all the books and played most of the games, i was able to conjure up images in my mind (^_^!)
I also noticed that Radagsts staff looks HEAPS like the staff Gandalf has in the fellowship of the ring! So maybe there is a cool staff plot twist ahead! And i can't wait to see what happens at Dol Guldur! Epic battles ahead!
Bilbo! I think they casted Bilbo's role perfectly! Watson, (Martin Freeman) brilliant! He plays such a good hobbit!
I enjoyed the hobbit and can't wait for the second movie! (and hopefully an extended version of this one!)

Seirei no Moribito

There are alot of great animes that fly under the mainstream radar, they don't get alot of advertising and you don't see them for sale on the shelves of your local store, which is a shame.
Seirei no Moribito, or 'Guardian of the sacred spirit' is one such gem of an anime! It follows the story of the heroine Balsa as she guards the young prince Chagum from a sinister plot to assassinate him. Why assassinate him you ask (^_^?) An ancient water spirit resides within Chagums body, the water spirit is a creature of legend, they know no truths abouts its purpose, and through out the series the secrets are slowly revealed.
Balsa is an exceptional spear master, making her a formidable opponent for her foes. Not only does she wield strenght, but kindness and wisdom also. It is a very thoughtful anime with an inspiring story containing moral and philosophical undertones.
