Fish tank paradise

I love fish tanks (^_^!!)
I think they're pretty awesome and it's nice and relaxing to watch the fishies swim around and get up to mischief and shenanigans.
Looking after tropical fish is difficult..... or is it (^_^?)
I'm not sure how many fish are in my tank, maybe twenty, but I've found looking after them to be very, very easy. I have two heaters which just hang out on the back wall keeping the tank at a warm
25'C, I've got two because if one dies then I don't have to worry about my fish dying, neon genesis taught me the importance of back up generators lol I just keep an eye on the indicator lights to make sure they're still functional as I've had one die on me before, plus there's a cheap thermometer in there so i can keep an eye on the temp. The tank size is 100L.
As for cleaning, I've never really cleaned the glass inside the tank, ever, not once in two years. How did I achieve this? Well I've got 5 bristle nose catfish in there and they eat any fungus an stuff that starts to form, just brilliant! So other than doing 10% water changes once a month (never do 100% changes!) and cleaning the filter the tank is pretty maintenance free, I've also got no plastic plants, all the plants are real so they're doing their part in creating a nice environment for the fishaloo's,
The only problems I've had in the past were 1- snails! my oh my, they'd eat my plants and lay eggs everywhere and eat my fish eggs and generally be annoying. So, they had to go! Originally they were the tank cleaners but the catfish do a much better job (in my opinion) and don't wreak my plants! The 2nd problem I had was putting a second disc fish in, phoenix is the largest fish, master ruler of tankland, and I thought hmmm he might like a friend, so I bought a second disc fish, was he happy to have a new pal to pal around with? No! Not at all! He bullied the shit out of that poor fish, we ended up calling her moaning myrtle, she was also blue, so sadness was her thing, but I don't want a sad fish in my tank that's constantly being pecked and bullied and chased around, so regrettably I took her back to the pet shop hoping she'll find a better, happier place to live. Phoenix remains without a friend but at least he stopped being an asshole bully.
As for food I feed them brine shrimp, they love it! And I put these pellets in for the bristle nose so they never go hungry (^_^!!)
